The Beginning
Peaceful Pines Living was founded by Margaret Thompson, RN, whose 25 years in healthcare administration and personal experience caring for her aging mother inspired her to create a different kind of senior living community.
After witnessing firsthand the challenges families face when seeking quality senior care, Margaret envisioned a place where compassionate care would truly meet genuine community. She saw the need for a senior living facility that treated residents not as patients or room numbers, but as cherished family members deserving of dignity, respect, and joy in their golden years.

Our Journey Through the Years
The Beginning
Peaceful Pines Living was founded by Margaret Thompson, RN, whose 25 years in healthcare administration and personal experience caring for her aging mother inspired her to create a different kind of senior living community.
Early Recognition
Word spread quickly about our innovative approach to senior care. Our commitment to treating residents as family, not numbers, earned us our first industry accolades.
Expansion & Growth
Growing demand led to our first major expansion. We increased capacity to accommodate 60 residents and introduced our specialized memory care program.
Building Excellence
Continued growth allowed us to enhance our facilities with a new fitness center, indoor pool, and expanded outdoor spaces for resident enjoyment.
CARF Accreditation
Achieved CARF accreditation, recognizing our commitment to quality care standards and continuous improvement in all aspects of our operation.
Resilience & Innovation
During unprecedented challenges, we implemented innovative safety protocols and virtual family connection programs, keeping residents safe while maintaining quality of life.
Award-Winning Care

Today, we're proud to have served over 500 families, with many residents calling Peaceful Pines home for 5+ years. Our second-generation residents—adult children of former residents who choose us for their own retirement—are perhaps our greatest testament to the trust and quality care we provide.
